Nuxan

Overview

The name given to the world of Exandria approximately 1000 years after the Exodus — the event in which the gods either abandoned the world or chose mortality. The renaming is not universal or formal; “Exandria” persists in historical texts and among older or more scholarly populations. “Nuxan” is colloquial and regional, used most commonly in Marquet and among communities that actively reject divine legacy.

Magic is scarce and feared, regulated where it isn’t suppressed outright. The Luxon faith operates as the dominant global religious institution. The Feywild is sealed. The Shadowfell is ungoverned and accumulating lost souls. Two moons remain: Catha and the shattered Ruidus.
