Luxon Missionary

Background — Homebrew for Heretics of the Old Gods

The Luxon is the light that was here before the gods and will be here after. That’s what you were taught, and you believe it — or you did once, completely, in the way that only makes sense when the alternative is having nothing at all. The mission houses gave you food, community, purpose, and a cosmology that made the post-Exodus world legible. In return you give them your labor, your loyalty, and your voice.

You carry the faith into places it hasn’t reached yet. You run the soup kitchen, staff the shelter, sit with the grieving, and somewhere in all of that you tell people about the Luxon. You’re not naive about what the mission house gets out of this arrangement. You’ve just decided the good it does is real enough to justify the rest.

Whether you’re a consecuted true believer who has lived multiple lives in service of reassembly, or a first-generation convert who found the mission house at the worst moment of your life, the faith shaped you. What it’s actually pointing you toward is a question you haven’t asked yet.

The Luxon Mission maintains houses in settlements across Nuxan. As a known face in the faith, you can present yourself at any mission house and receive a meal, a bed, and basic medical attention without cost. The mission house will also serve as a message drop and a source of local information — the faithful talk, and the houses hear everything that moves through a community. This access is conditional on your continued association with the faith. If you publicly renounce the Luxon or act against the mission’s interests, doors that were open may not stay that way.
