Cobalt Soul

Overview

A monastic order dedicated to the pursuit and preservation of truth, operating out of archives in major cities across Exandria — most significantly the Archive of the Knowing Mistress in Rexxentrum and the Cobalt Reserve in Vasselheim. Trained monks called Expositors in the art of uncovering deception. Founded on the principle that truth freely accessible to all is the only protection against tyranny, divine or mortal.

Notable members include Beauregard Lionett (Campaign Two), who rose to become High Curator.

Successor organization: The Cobalt Veil descends from the Cobalt Soul, operating as information smugglers under the Luxon’s regulatory suppression — the same core principle (truth must not be controlled) adapted for a world in which open operation is impossible.
