What the Faithful Believe

Goddess of civilization, law, and urban settlement. Patron of inventors and lawmakers. Believed the world would be consumed by chaos without structure to contain it. Historically partnered with Melora — a theological pairing of civilization and nature in balance.

Her Exandrian cult required adherents to build — roads, cities, governments, systems. Progress through law was her doctrine. The Cobalt Soul was founded in the name of Ioun, but Erathis was patron of civil governance and legislation.

Status After the Exodus

Departed with the other gods. Relevant to HotOG primarily through Ludinus Da’leth’s backstory — Ludinus grew up in Ozana on Issylra when Erathis fought the Crawling King (Torog) and destroyed Ozana as collateral damage in a divine war. Watching his city burn as a child, then having a priest offer him theology as consolation for a wound theology caused, is the event Ludinus himself traces as the origin of his anti-divine ideology.
