Description

Pre-Exodus canon (835-836 P.D.): The war between the Krynn Dynasty and the Dwendalian Empire triggered by the theft of two Luxon beacons — stolen by Essek Thelyss at the behest of Ludinus Da’leth and the Cerberus Assembly, who wanted to study dunamantic power. The war consumed Eastern and Western Wynandir for roughly a year before the Mighty Nein brokered a peace.

Resolved partly through Essek Thelyss’s confession to the Mighty Nein and his eventual cooperation with them and the Cobalt Soul in exposing the Assembly’s role in instigating the conflict. Trent Ikithon was arrested. Assembly leadership was fractured.

Significance to HotOG: This war was both the immediate predecessor of Ludinus Da’leth’s Ruby Vanguard operation and the event that exhausted both major Wynandir powers — making the region vulnerable during the Apogee Solstice events of 843 P.D. seven years later.
