Overview

The dominant human empire of Western Wynandir in Wildemount, ruled by King Bertrand Dwendal during Campaign Two. An authoritarian monarchy regulating magic use, religion, and commerce. Founded the Cerberus Assembly to consolidate arcane power under Crown authority in the 570s PD. Fought the War of Ash and Light against the Krynn Dynasty (835-836 PD).

Status in Nuxan (1000 A.E.): Significantly diminished. Under Bright Queen Caelestis Kryn’s expansion across the Ashkeeper Peaks, the Empire has shrunk to cover only the lands west of the Eisfus River. Current ruler Suria Dwendal II holds a mostly honorific title — true power runs through the Cerberus Assembly under Yussa Errenis.
