Tal’Dorei

Overview

Continent west of Wildemount, scene of Campaign One. A thousand years after the Exodus, the Tal’Dorei Republic no longer exists as a unified political entity. The republic fractured under the combined pressure of the Exodus, ecological collapse, and the absence of divine authority — a process that took roughly two centuries and produced the current landscape of independent city-states.

The Tal’Dorei Council survives by name and by tradition, but it has evolved from a republican governing body into a loose alliance of independent city-state leaders. The name is retained for historical legitimacy. The actual authority it holds depends entirely on the political will of its members. Emon holds the most sway — commercially and arcanically — and effectively sets the Council’s agenda, though not without resistance.

The Clasp originated here, based out of Emon.
