Rifenmist Jungle

Overview

A vast, sweltering jungle covering the southern expanse of Tal’Dorei, home to the nomadic Orroyen elves and the hidden heart-city of Niirdal-Poc. The jungle has historically resisted every attempt at conquest or colonization — the Iron Authority waged cyclical war against it for centuries without lasting success, and the Orroyen’s intimate knowledge of the terrain made sustained incursion effectively impossible.

Legend holds that the jungle will never die so long as even one Orroyen lives within it. Whether this is metaphor or literal magic is unclear.
