Description

The religious purge initiated by Bright Queen Caelestis Kryn across Tal’Dorei, Issylra, and Marquet in the Rising Action arc of HotOG. Framed as a divine mandate to unite Nuxan under the Luxon faith. The underlying logic: Caelestis believes a fully united world of faith would finally draw the attention of the Progenitors to protect Nuxan.

• The Cerberus Assembly rebuilds the Volstrucker intelligence and military apparatus to support the Krynn advance
• Vasselheim is targeted specifically — to Caelestis it represents the historical heart of old-god heresy
• The Tal’Dorei Council organizes resistance and rebuilds the Emon Arcanum
• Resistance coalitions form in Issylra around old-god worshippers and clerical armies
• The Plank King exploits the chaos to annex the Menagerie Coast

Resolution: Caelestis is fatally wounded in a climactic battle. Her consecution attempt may or may not succeed. Her absence creates a power vacuum the Krynn Dynasty cannot fill — the lineage ends with her.
