Cassin Vere

Description

Human, middle-aged, professional to the point of affectlessness. Runs legitimate contracts as cover for Court-directed work out of a modest office near the Ends. Known across Bassuras for connecting labor to work without obvious affiliation. Not malicious toward the PCs — they’re a transaction.

Posts the Ninth Expedition job through normal channels with legitimate Court authorization stamps. The authorization traces directly to the Survey Foreman’s office.

Personality

Professional detachment as both shield and mode of operation. Accepts contract outcomes without apparent reaction.
