Rebel
Background — Homebrew for Heretics of the Old Gods
You decided the people in charge aren’t legitimate. Maybe you always knew it. Maybe something happened that made it impossible to pretend otherwise. Either way you stopped pretending, and then you stopped being quiet about it, and at some point it stopped being a decision and started being who you are.
You’re part of a scene — loose, loud, held together by shared contempt for authority and the kind of loyalty that forms when nobody else will have you. You make things: art, noise, trouble. You show up. You remember who sold out and who didn’t. You know which walls are worth painting and which ones will get you killed, and sometimes you paint them anyway.

You can identify authoritarian enforcers, institutional muscle, and the people who work for them by their behavior, affect, and the way everyone else in the room tenses up. When you identify someone like that in a space where you have standing — a bar, a market, a work floor, a squat, a crowd — you can move to have them removed. You have Advantage on Charisma checks made to rally bystanders against an identified authority figure or enforcer. This doesn’t work in spaces the authority controls outright, and it doesn’t make you invisible to them afterward.
